Sliding Scale Membership Opportunities!
All of June!

In light of the horrific news out of Kamloops we've decided to offer sliding scale memberships for the month of June with 100% of proceeds going towards the Mi'kmawey Debert Cultural Centre and the Indian Residential School Survivor Society. We will post the receipt of our donations in early July.
You can choose to pay anywhere between $20-$100 for an individual membership, good for one year from your purchase date. With your membership you'll receive discounts on rentals, voting rights at our AGM and get to be part of a vibrant media arts community.
The Mi’kmawey Debert Cultural Centre (MDCC) will be an experiential cultural centre in Debert, Nova Scotia, providing imaginative and meaningful year-round programming for visitors of all ages. A primary space for Mi’kmaw people to ask their own questions and tell their own stories, the Centre will protect a sacred landscape recognized across Canada and the world.
Mi'kmawey Debert's Indian Residential School (IRS) Legacy program is dedicated to gathering, protecting, and sharing the stories and lives of survivors and descendants of the Shubenacadie Indian Residential School, now a National Historic Site of Canada. Mi'kmawey Debert continues to preserve and to share the histories and stories of survivors and descendants, engage them in the design of their future Centre, develop new educational resources and grow our archive of digital and physical resources about residential school experiences and legacies. With your support Mi’kmawey Debert will strengthen our support for survivors and their families as they navigate their healing journeys.
We encourage you to head on over to https://www.mikmaweydebert.ca to read more about their work.
