We’re so excited to be adding a new member to the CFAT team! Starting immediately, Patricia Boushel will be our new Digital Strategy Research Coordinator. She will be working to develop and implement consultation with artist-run and media arts organizations across the country on their use of digital and mobile platforms.
Patricia is a cultural producer, researcher and activist translator from Montréal. Her work has unfolded in varied and hybrid orientations as producer and researcher in documentary film both independently and for the NFB, producer for POP Montreal International Music Festival, artist manager, arts organization director, and community organizer, notably as an activist translator and language educator. She sits on three boards: as Vice President at ARTEXTE, and as administrator at both Innovations en concert and Voie Boréale/True North Insight, where she has coordinated the prison meditation program. She finds joy and solace in the practice of compassion in challenging situations, spirited militancy and conversations that go deep and take time.
Welcome to the team Patricia!
