Opening: Archives of the Future
Archives of the Future will be opening on March 10th at Dalhousie University Art Gallery as a part of the larger exhibition Why are we saving All these artist publications + Other Galleries stuffs? This screening explores how the cultural workforce is in constant competition with itself by unwittingly contributing to the global power structures that underpay, overwork and exploit. To resist this exploitation, artists and art institutions must cast a critical eye on the conditions of its own production and display, its own labor.
