Krista Davis will be giving a presentation on her time as artists-in-residence at the Centre for Art Tapes. Davis’ video project will look at the experience of an outsider as they attempt to navigate and connect with communities that they are entering into for the first time. Using the visual metaphor of skinned animals, Davis explores the skeletal structure of social interactions that cage the experience of fitting-in.
