A Message From The Board of Directors
On behalf of the Board, we want to make you aware of a reorganization at the Centre for Art Tapes.
A new administrative structure is being created which means the position of Executive Director will no longer be required. Keith McPhail oversaw the administrative business of the Centre through the challenging transitionary phase associated with our relocation to Maitland Street. We thank Keith for his hard work over the past three years, and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
The Board is planning a reconfiguration, and given the modest size of our staff, and their professionalism, we believe a more democratic and flattened structure is appropriate at this time. These changes are the result of careful consideration of our challenges, consulting with similar arts organizations and a review of successful past practices.
To help with day to day operations, and any immediate priorities, members of the Board will be available on site. New hiring opportunities are expected for the Centre and we’ll keep in close touch as more information becomes available.
